The pregnant Sims in S2 seem to have a bigger pregnant belly than in S3. I enjoy playing with the pregnant sims in 2 than in 3 mainly because of this. I hope Sims 4 have bigger belly bumps and not just a severe bloating look. I also hope the speculating pics of pregnant sims are also not the real thing, because I wasn't impressed. Fertility Mods
1.) Extracted Inteen Fertility Changes With Age– ACR includes age fertility decrease (you need to change a BCON it for it to only kick in after age 40, but that’s easily done), but it only affects ACR’s casual woohoo/TFB and ACR isn’t for everyone. Not compatible with RCC. If you use ACR alongside this you might want to tune “Tuning – Casual Romance – Pregnancy Odds” in ACR-Controller-Main so that fertility is always 70 so that sims have the same fertility odds with casual woohoo and regular woohoo. You can also tune the fertility change from this mod: “Fertility – Age Decay Threshold” gives the days left until becoming elder sims are when fertility changes kick in, “Fertility – Age Decay Rate” gives the change in fertility per day aged past the threshold, and “Fertility – Age Twins Adjust %” determines the change in probability of getting twins past the threshold age.
2.) Fertile Fertility– During “Try For Baby”, the pregnancy chance is rolled again for each parent who has the Super Fertility aspiration reward.
3.) Reproductive Capabilities Configure VS-An upgraded version of RCC! There’s documentation explaining everything, both included in the download and available to read on google docs, but basically it adds an object that looks like a fruit bowl in the Gen/Misc category for 0 simoleons, and you can use that object to change various things related to sim pregnancy (and sex/gender).
Pregnancy Mods
1.) -Speed Up Or Extend Pregnancies- The standard pregnancy is 3 Sim Days or 72 Hours. These three creators edit that. Note that with the 15 day pregnancy to be careful if you have the Inteen mod as the transition from teen to adult may cause issues. Read description carefully.

2.) Triplets and Quads– This mod will affect the birth process of all pregnant sims, including sims that are already pregnant when the mod is installed. Nothing is changed about the pregnancy itself. You can get the sim pregnant any way you like. This will override the number of babies only, and does it only after the sim goes into labor.
3.) Preg for All Genders– Enables same sex pregnancy so same sex couples can have genetic children instead of adopting hideous children. Not for use with Inteen (use the flavor pak instead), but can be used with Jenflower’s teen woohoo mod. See readme file for important notes about how the mod determines which sim will get pregnant when same sex couples try for baby.
4.) Only Family React to Birth– When a sim gives birth only household members or family will react to the labor or come see baby. No more random walkby running into the bathroom to watch a total stranger have a baby.
5.) Fight while pregnant– FFS EA, why do pregnant sims never get to do anything fun? I’m not sure why they made it impossible for pregnant sims who are showing to engage in any of the “Fight…” interactions, either as the attacker or the defender (not even “Poke” and “Slap”!)
6.) No Zoom-In for Preggy Mod– This mod will disable zooming in or close-up for every changing of stage in pregnancy.
7.) Pregnancy bump fix– If you play with extended pregnancies or short rotations and you visit a lot of community lots, you’ve probably experienced the problem with pregnant ladies in the background suddenly sporting a third trimester bump even though they are only in second trimester. You can choose between first, second and third trimester. Note that this will not make the Sim pregnant, it only controls the visual.

10.) Preggers downtown– Should make it possible for pregnant women to drive downtown, get a taxi downtown and call up another pregnant sim and have them – as per part of the group – to go downtown.
11.) Maternity Pay Fix– Sims no longer get maternity pay on their days off. If a pregnant sim is not scheduled to work on a given day, she won’t get maternity pay for staying home when she wasn’t supposed to work anyhow. If the sim is scheduled to work, and you use “Walk To Work”, which is the only way to get a pregnant sim to work, the sim will not get double pay (vacation pay plus normal work pay). However the sim WILL lose a day of vacation (unpaid) since she is waiving her maternity leave by going to work.
12.) No Baby Stalking– Total strangers will no longer break into your home in the middle of the night to witness the birth of your baby.
13.) Pregnant Yoga– Pregnant sims can do yoga.
14.) Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit– This mod allows pregnant sims to wear any outfit. **Do not use this mod with the Inteenimater** Sims will not look pregnant while wearing Outerwear. This mod is not compatible with my Dress Naked Mod or any other dresser hacks you may be using
15.) Buy Maternity Clothes At Shop– This mod allows your sims to buy custom maternity clothes at your shops/community lots.
16.) Leap Into Arms Enabled For Pregnant Sims– This mod allows pregnant sims to Leap into other sims arms.
17.) Birth Options Mod-A mod that can generate one of two dialog boxes during birth:
- If both parents live on the same lot, you get asked which one should get paternal leave.
- If the parents live in separate families and the other parent’s family is playable you get the option to give the baby/babies to the other parent’s family. Since you can’t get babies to leave the lot normally Midge had to manually poof them, which makes the parent that just gave birth jump out of the baby-carrying animation, and the babies will appear on the other lot kinda floating weirdly until you hit play, but everything works itself out.
18.) Death By Childbirth-Sims have a 10% chance of dying in childbirth, which increases if they’re less than 14 days away from becoming an elder by 1% per day. These odds are BCON tunable.

Female young adult and adult Sims in The Sims 3 can become pregnantfollowing 'Try For Baby' with a young adult or adult male Sim,or might even become pregnant after WooHoo.
Getting Pregnant
For a female Sim, becoming pregnant is fairly straightforward: choosethe Try for Baby option with an adult male Sim. If the baby try was successful,a lullaby will play after the attempt. There is a chance that Try for Babywon't result in pregnancy, however.
There is also a small chance that just WooHoo will result in pregnancy, but thisis less likely. However, young adults, and Sims who have had fertility treatment,have a greater chance of pregnancy from plain old WooHoo.
The number of babies (i.e. twins, triplets, etc.) is determined while the parents aretrying for the baby, so getting fertility treatment while the mother is pregnantwill not affect the number of babies from that pregnancy.
Elder female Sims cannot get pregnant, but elder male Sims can try for a baby witha young adult or adult female Sim.

When a female Sim is pregnant, she will give birth in three days. During her pregnancy,she automatically gets paid vacation from work.
In the first trimester (day one), the mother will suffer from nausea and will need to occasionallyvisit the toilet to relieve her morning sickness.
On day two, the mother will automatically change into maternity clothing as the baby bulge becomesvisible. Other Sims can ask to feel the mother's tummy. The mother might get a craving to eatcertain foods at this time.

Giving Birth
When the mother goes into labor, the other Sims in the household will gather 'round and panic.The mother might decide autonomously to take a taxi to the hospital, or she might choose to stayhome and have the baby there. The game will remind you to make sure that the mother is either inthe hospital or at home. After a while, the mother will give birth, at which point you can namethe baby and, if the mother was happy during the pregnancy, choose the baby's starting traits.
Getting Twins
Have the mother listen to the children's radio station on a stereo while simultaneously watching thekids' channel on TV. This will increase the mother's chance of having twins.
