Adobe Flash is no longer being updated and should be removed from your computer. Starting January 12, 2021 Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player.
Dragged the Flash Player folder from Macromedia folder to the trash. Re-ran Uninstaller. Emptied the trash. And once again it only went to 95% - and stopped. A Force-Quit is required if you get that far.

Double click the install_flash_player_osx.dmg file in your Download folder, then double click the Install Adobe Flash Player icon to install the update.
Adobe announces end of life for Flash at the end of 2020.
To uninstall Adobe Flash on your Mac, go into Applications, Utilities, double click Adobe Flash Player Install Manager. You will then get a dialog with the choices of Quit and Uninstall, choose Uninstall and Adobe Flash will be removed from your Mac.

Adobe Shockwave support to end April 9, 2019, after which it will no longer be available for download.
